Thyroid-stimulating preparation of plant origin
According to WHO thyroid gland diseases are second most frequent among endocrine disorders after diabetes. Over 670 mln people are susceptible to this disease. In some regions of the world the morbidity rate comes up to 95%! There can be many reasons for that - iodine deficiency and adverse environment to genetic abnormalities.
Among methods of treatment hormone replacement therapy, thyrostatics, surgical interference and radioiodine exposure are favoured.
All the mentioned methods of treatment have a considerable number of contraindications and disadvantages. Thus, hormone replacement therapy implies life-long administration of thyroid hormones preparations and gradually the patients own gland stops functioning, turning the patient into "a life-time client" of pharmaceutical companies. Besides, thyroid hormone preparations has a number of contraindications land a lot of side effects such as tachycardia, heart rhythm disorder, allergy, nervous agitation, insomnia etc. The aim of taking thyrostatics is partial or total inhibition of the patient's thyroid gland function which is followed by hormone replacement therapy. The side effects of thyrostatics are: blood-making function inhibition, nausea, vomiting, compromised liver function, allergy etc.
Surgical interference is often accompanied by complications resulting in about 10% disability cases. Other essential disadvantages of thyroidectome are: Life-long hormone replacement therapy and a high rate of parathyroid glands injury during the surgery.
Official medicine prefers to disregard the disadvantages of the existing schemes and standards of thyroid gland treatment, denying any alternatives.

This work resulted in creating an original unparalleled preparation «ENDONORM» - A thyroid-stimulating preparation with a wide therapeutic activity.
The main active component of the preparation is cinquefoil (Potentilla alba L.) which has been well known in folk medicine of Russia and Europe. Its pharmaceutical forms are commonly used as high-efficiency agents correcting such thyroid gland deficiencies as:
- hypothyroidism (hypofunction)
- hyperthyroidism (hyperfunction, thyrotoxicosis, Basedow-Graves disease)
- autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's thyroiditis, inveterate autoimmune thyroiditis)
- euthyroid goiter (diffuse, nodular/multinodular)
- thyroid gland hyperplasia
Unique therapeutic efficiency of cinquefoil is confirmed in multiple clinical tests (Smyk G.K. 1975, Prikhodko E.I. 1976, Smyk G.K. 1982, Kayukova V.A. 2004 et al.).
During the last decades numerous attempts have been made to create a preparation on basis of this unique plant. But common use of cinquefoil in pharmaceutical practice was not possible due to scarcity of primary resources.
Researchers and experts of our company developed best available technology of growing cinquefoil, allowing to manage large-scale processing of this plant.

«ENDONORM» is a mix of dry plant extracts of cinquefoil (Potentilla alba L.), bur beggar-ticks (Bidens tripartita L.), common licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) and Laminaria saccharina (L.) pulvis. Cinquefoil is the main active component and others intensify and modulate its effect.
Due to biochemical characteristics of each component of «ENDONORM» synergism effect is crated. The researches we carried out show that triterpene glycosides and phenol compounds of cinquefoil (Potentilla alba L.) affect generation of thyroid-stimulating hormone by the adenohypophysis, they also affect the proliferative processes in the thyroid tissue and brings the thyroid gland to its euthyroid state. Common licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) normalizes the function of adrenal glands, of immune and reproductive system, and restores the hormone balance of the body. Iridoids and flavonoid compounds contained in bur beggar-ticks (Bidens tripartita L.) have the immunomodulating effect and allow to achieve maximum therapeutic effect in cases of autoimmune thyroiditis. Laminaria saccharina L. Normalizes the biochemical processes in the thyroid tissue due to presence of a wide range of macro- and microelements.
In the course of development of «ENDONORM» «Fitopanacea» carried out clinical tests which allowed to match a unique composition, dosage and schemes of treatment. High efficiency of «ENDONORM» in treating a wide range of thyroid gland disorders was proved. The results of these research works are patented.
Active components1 cap of the preparation contains: Extract of cinquefoil roots and rootstocks - 200 mg, extract of bur beggar-ticks herb - 80 mg, extract of common licorice roots - 50 mg, powder of laminaria saccharina pulvis – 70 mg.
Application and dosage of «ENDONORM»Specific characteristics of thyroid gland diseases is that they can be forming for years without any visually accessible presentations. They are accompanied not only by disorders but by total reorganization of the body's hormone system function. «ENDONORM» therapy does not imply life-long administration of this preparation. As a rule several courses of «ENDONORM» are enough to improve the clinical presentation. Optimal dosage of «ENDONORM» is adjusted based on the diagnosis, condition of the thyroid gland and severity of the disease.

Contraindications
Idiosyncrasy for the preparation constituents, acute inflammatory diseases of the digestive system, pregnancy and service period, children under 12 (insufficient clinical information).
Route and dosage
Adults: 1 cap 3 times a day, 10 minutes before meals.
Children over 12 years old: 1 cap 2 times a day, 10 minutes before meals.
Minimal course of treatment - two months. Repeat the course after ten-days break period if necessary.
For thyroid gland disease prevention take 1 cap 2 times a day, 10 minutes before meals during one month. Repeat the course two times a year.
For climacteric syndrome treatment take 1 cap 3 times a day, 10 minutes before meals.

Up to the present time no overdose cases reported.
Interaction with other preparations
Conjoint application of «ENDONORM» with thyroid hormones and thyrostatics is only allowed under control of the attending doctor due to possible drug-induced effect inversion.

For maximum effect the course of «ENDONORM» treatment is to be combined with a special diet. It is recommended to eat products rich in Se, Zn and ascorbic acid or take proper vitamins and minerals.
It is also necessary to limit of delete entirely products containing goitrogenic agents (such as to cause thyroid gland function disorders). These include: Cabbage, brussels sprout, cauliflower, broccoli, turnip, rape, millet.

GynaecologyMenopause and «ENDONORM»
In the course of «ENDONORM» development an important drug-induced effect had been revealed. Thus, the preparation showed high therapeutic activity with women during menopause (in the climacteric period). «ENDONORM» showed its efficiency not only for normalization of thyroid gland hormonal function, but for the entire endocrine system.
Up to 60% of women at the age of 45 to 55 years suffer from some thyroid gland disorders and from resulting endocrine disorders, that first of all makes most negative effect onto the menopause.

Glycyrrhizic acids in the common licorice normalize hormonal balance in the organism, restore the function of adrenal glands and ovaries. Moreover, common licorice components have pronounced estrogenic activity, preventing age-dependent reduction of estrogen level.
ImmunologyImmunomodulatory effect of «ENDONORM»
Tests carried out in the course of development of "ENDONORM" preparation showed that complex combination of the three components: common licorice, cinquefoil and bur beggar-ticks herb provides for pronounced immunomodulatory effect that allows neutralize destructive effect of immunity with the deep-rooted autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's thyroiditis). Therapy revealed steady reduction of antiserum capacity to thyroglobulin (Anti-Tg) and to thyroid peroxydase (Anti-TPO), in some cases Blood Sedimentation Rate reduction.
